INTERNSHIP PROPOSITION: MANURE MANAGEMENT IN SICHUAN.
Context
China is currently developing industrial live stock production. Sichuan is one the main hog production provinces with unsufficient crops fields to have spreading as the only outlet for pig manure. This situation, emblematic of the whole country problematic regarding its live stock manure, requires the set-up of solutions to recycle livestock farming wastes and protect the environment. The question that raises depletion ofnon-renewable resources makes solutions for reuse such as anaerobic digestionand organic fertilizers even more attractive.
Company
I-tek is a French company specialized in pig farm conception. We also provide the whole range of services and technologies in manure management. In order to understand the local issues and specificities of manure management in Sichuan we wish to complete a prospective study. To help us achieve this goal we are recruiting an intern.
Internship overview
Managed by our environment specialist he will:
· Study local regulation, authorities will, and other possible lever ages to support manure management solutions set-up.
· Build an inventory of the main industrial pig farms, and their current situation regarding manure management.
· Study the acceptance and adaptation needed for our technologies regarding the local market.
Candidates Profile
We are seeking for 本科 students, who are proficient in English or French.
The candidate must have a scientific background, ideally with a major in environmental management, water treatment engineering or agriculture.
